Our Mission

To effectively share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the Military Community throughout the world with the purpose of making disciples.

The staff and ministry team of Sonshine Ministries, Inc., are committed to co-laboring world wide with military chaplains to reach our men and women in uniform, and their families, with the Gospel message of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Evangelistic Implementation

Knowing the salvation is the work of the Holy Spirit, we, in obedience to God, proclaim the simple Gospel message through the preaching of the Word of God, inspiring music and personal testimony. Following the proclamation of the Word an invitation is then given for people to respond to the Gospel message. We then relate those who respond to the invitation to the chaplains of the local chapel community for spiritual feeding, nurturing and discipleship. 

Sonshine Ministries, Inc. has been reaching the lost since 1978. Through the years thousands have responded in committing and/or recommitting their lives to Christ Jesus - to the glory of God.

We affirm our unwavering commitment to help fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ to ‘go and make disciples of all the nations’ (Matthew 28:19). It is with a consuming passion that we proclaim the Good News and, in doing so, declare our willingness to go anywhere, and sacrifice anything that God requires of us in the fulfillment of the Commission.

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, in errant, and infallible Word of God, and the supreme and final authority in faith and life. 
II Timothy 3:16+17; II Peter 1:20+21

We believe in one God, who created all things, who eternally exists as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. 
II Corinthians 13:14

We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary and is true God and true man; who lived a sinless life and sacrificially died for our sins according to the Scriptures, was buried and resurrected from the dead on the third day, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and is presently our interceding High Priest and Advocate. Matthew 1:20-25; Luke 24:6+7; John 1:14; Acts 10:39+40; Hebrews 8:1+2

We believe in the imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in the flesh. Acts 1:9-11; Rev 22:7

We believe that man was created in the image of God; that man sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also spiritual death which is separation from God; and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature. Genesis. 1:25-27; Romans 5:12.

We believe God loves every human being, who, apart from faith in Christ, is under God’s judgment and destined for hell. We also believe that God’s atoning work in Jesus Christ in dying for all people on the cross makes it possible for all to be forgiven and enter into a personal relationship with God through faith. Romans 3:22-26; 6:23; Romans 5:8 + 10; 6:23; John 3:16.

We believe that the heart of the Biblical message is the good news of God’s salvation, which comes by grace alone to all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior. Those who receive Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit who indwells and empowers the believer to walk a victorious and holy life. Ephesians 2:8+9; Titus 3:5:7; John 3:6+7; I Corinthians 2:12; John 14:16 + 26; John 8:14.
